Bartella's Restaurant On Friday 22nd April, Rotarians along with partners, friends and family gathered in the Orangery at Bartella’s for the annual President’s Evening. In a very relaxed atmosphere, the restaurant staff welcomed us before quickly taking our orders from their extensive food and drinks menus. Salvation Army Major Bryn Hargreaves was kind enough to say grace before we savoured the restaurants gastronomic delights and enjoyed the fellowship of our friends and family.

Having eaten just a little too much we settled down with a cup of coffee while the raffle prizes were handed out and then we were on to the evenings main event – Tony Harris. He waltzed into the room dressed as one of the Titanic’s first class passengers and then proceeded to enthral us with countless facts and numerous conspiracy theories about the sinking of the majestic liner.

Having had a thoroughly wonderful evening, it was finally time to go .
