Purple4Polio - Crocuses at the Crematorium

Helping Marie Curie Cancer Care

A Visit to Hive Hope Food Bank

Our Club supports the Hive Hope food bank in Northfleet. It received an unexpected request for help when we were asked to supply a Father Christmas for its Christmas party. Representatives accompanied Chris Keeble who bravely took on the challenge and afterwards said he enjoyed it!

It has become difficult to choose those organisations which need our help but the representatives of Age UK, Alzheimers & Dementia Support Services, Multiple Sclerosis Support, PHAB, Waterside Family Support, Hi Kent for the Deaf, House of Mercy and Hive Hope Food Bank all agreed that it was the work of Gravesend Rotary that made their work

Collecting for Marie Curie Nurses

The Rotary Club of Gravesend collected  over £500   for the Marie Curie Daffodil appeal last Saturday 20th Feb when the members put on funny (but warm) hats and sold trays of daffodils outside Tesco’s store in the New Road. Presentations to Charities

The club met representatives of local charities to hear about their work and to present them with donations. The money was raised from our local community through the On Your Bike sponsored bike ride in April. Hive Hope Food Bank Gets Our Support

Deborah and Jeff Keys with a band of willing helpers open up the Hive Food Bank every  Wednesdays and Thursdays to help local residents  who cannot quite make ends meet.
