The ride will start (and finish) at the Gordon Promenade, Gravesend, as it did last year. This year (2010) there will be a change in the time of the start: Instead of everyone starting at 9am there will be a 'rolling start' from 8.45 am so you can start after that to avoid being caught up in a big crowd of riders. To see a map showing the start click here. Cars will not be allowed on the Promenade. To find out about car parks click here. For details of toilets click here. There are toilets close to the start/finish. There will be three routes, one 15 miles, one 30 miles and the other 45 miles. This year (2010) there is a change in the 15 and 20 mile routes between Higham and Cobham: they go along Crutches Lane instead of Pear Tree Lane/Ridgeway (see p. 2 of the route sheet) To view a copy of the official route sheet (as distributed to riders) go to our Downloads Page from which you can download it to your computer or print it We hope the shorter routes will attract many people who are not keen cyclists but would like to take part and support our charities.
